Efe Emerhana has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. He is dynamic and focused with comprehensive experience in risk management, marketing, relationship management, and business development and research.
An old boy of CMS Grammar School, Bariga, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State and a Master’s of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of Benin, Benin-City, Edo State.
He started his banking career with Fidelity Bank Plc as Relationship Officer where he was responsible for consumer and commercial products of the Bank. He was charged with the responsibility of driving retail products which led to the growth of the Savings Accounts position by volume of the Head Office and the Bank at large.
He was later redeployed to the Risk Management Division where he performed the dual function as a Loan Monitoring Officer in charge of several products on the Retail Platform Credit Monitoring and Collections Team, Bond & Contingent Monitoring and Loan Reporting Officer on the Reporting Desk. In this role, he brought innovative ideas which led to the recovery of huge amounts of loans in consumer and commercial products. With his team, a monitoring dashboard of all loans was developed which reports delinquent loans reports to officers responsible for such loans.
In respect to reporting, he was responsible for internal and external reporting which include Monthly CBN returns, CBN NPL reports, Bonds and Guarantees Reports, etc.
Efe Emerhana joined Cititrust Holdings Plc from Integrated Produce City Limited where he functioned as a Business Development Manager responsible for driving the sales of business ideas, concepts, and marketability.
He was the Branch Manager of Cititrust Private Equity Limited where he was responsible for the mobilization of funds and business development until his recent appointment as CEO of Cititrust Savings and Loan Limited, Liberia where is responsible for directing all aspects of the strategy, growth, and expansion of Bank.
He has attended several training on Relationship Management and Marketing, Credit Risk Management, Portfolio and Loan Management, Brand Management, etc.
